Anthology’s – From all signs, France has an extremely rich musical heritage. A faithful public is in search for original recordings that have been re-edited and re-released. As with certain books of art, sometimes these veritable anthologies on the works of the major artists reveal within their repertoires certain rare or forgotten pearls, along with the unforgettable songs. This search and rescue mission lights a fire equally in the hearts of full-time collectors and the general public, still in love with sweet melodies and rich lyrics. The label Anthology’s at last makes these great eras of French music accessible to the public with the most prestigious recordings and unsurpassed quality. Every disc in the Anthology’s collection is carefully prepared with a deluxe package (shiny cover, with crystal jewel box). We reproduce with exactitude the original booklets. These compact discs include all of the original recordings, digitally transferred and entirely remastered (often complemented with bonus tracks, not found elsewhere). The texts of the booklets contain all the necessary information (biographies,…) written by specialists who know the artists and their works. Besides tributes to the most well known musical greats, we offer also a collection of varied artists, who contribute equally to the rich history of French songs. Recently inaugurated with the re-edition and re-release of two original discs dedicated to the honor of the late Petula Clark, Anthology’s received the first prize for the re-edition of the year, 1998, for this golden work, and successively, in 1999, the four keys, prize from Télérama, for recognition of the first anthology in honor of the Charlots.
